2nd Of The 3 Key Criteria In Selecting A Suitable Online Program To Start Your Online Business

The second criteria for consideration is the Scalability. By this, I mean how big can your business be.

If you know that the business never make you a lot of money, then you must consider how much effort will you need to put your effort in. Everybody only has 24 hours a day and limited number of productive years, we have to be careful with our resources.

So, how can we make a judgement about the Scalability of the business.

a. Look at the business' potential customers, are they servicing a worldwide market? Whether the business can only serve men or women or children or all? Best is that the customers can be anybody.

b. Look at logistics. Is the product a physical product? Will transportation be a important consideration for customers when they buy? Best if the product is digital product, then even if the buyer is deep in the jungle, as long as he has an internet connection, he suddenly become your potential customer. Not so for physical products.

c. Is it for specific groups - limitation in languages, religions, country etc. Is the product only cater to certain language? Let's say you are selling food that only certain religion can eat, then you are limited. Best is product that can cater to all, digital products is the best because it can be programmed to communicated in different languages to different types of people.

d. Is it easy to grow? Your business has to grow, you need to have agents, resellers, partners etc, is your business easy for people to take up and grow for and with you? They are many programs that satisfy the above three criteria but when it comes to easy of growth, they just fails. They have many programs and incentives and bonus and lots of others that a newbie would be frighten off. Therefore best is choose something that is easy to understand and easy to grow.

e. Is the support from the company good? You can try your level best but if the company support is not good. You are going to give up. Best is if you can find company that has long history, many form of assistance such as video and support and proven business model.
